Good stuff Adam. I’m reading that book right now and have been drawing similar parallels to the role of the product manager.
One area that the book touches on that resonated with me is that the captain often isn’t the ‘star’ in the traditional sense. They are content to take a backseat to other high performers on the team and tend to avoid the spotlight. A good reminder for PM’s to spread the praise and successes while accepting the failures.
